Foot-Ball (Portugal)

Simple dice and counters game like snakes and ladders, from Portugal, dated 1945.

Here are the translated rules.

today the best known and preferred sport is certainly the game of football. in the game there are two teams in valiant combat. We will also take part in it to bring victory to our team. The game consists of a 6 coloured card counters and a dice so that up to 6 people can take part. other people present can participate in the game by betting. each player rolls the dice in turn and the one who reaches the number 40 first receives two thirds of the pile. the next one to finish picks up the rest. a player who lands on a number on which the figure throws the ball advances or retreats to the end of the direction of the arrow. for example, whoever lands on number 3 can advance to number 26. whoever lands on number 39 has to go back to number 19.
